Have you ever wondered what a CNC job is? CNC stands for Computer numeric control. These are machinists, aka skilled workers who are able to make parts using pieces of metal and plastics.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

The average salary for CNC machinists is around $35k per year.

SKILLS NEEDED FOR SUCCESS
Basic skills required for CNC work is 1 year of machine shop training, plus reading and math, communication, problem solving, and the effective use of logic and reasoning skills. You must have good eyesight, basic computer skills and physically fit.

WHERE THE JOBS ARE
Get a cnc job by applying directly to employers, or temporary services. Or get training at a trade school who can help with job placement. CNC jobs offer a wide variety of working hours and salaries.
