I need some help on this one. So I applied to this ad back in May 2011. The guy calls me in October. I go for the interview at 8:15 because he claims he has another meeting at 8:30. So I talked about 5 minutes and he talked the rest - the usual - about the company, his experience, etc. so he says I want to hire you but I have 4 other interviews to conduct but i will definitely call you this afternoon after 6:00. So i say to myself - sounds good - but i dont get a phone call so now im saying to myself oh another one bites the dust but something says to call this guy the next day. I call - he answers and says oh yes I will call you back in an hour to discuss duties - we never discussed pay, benefits etc. because it was only a 15 min. interview and he was rushing me out. my question is I keep calling this guy and Im not getting an answer - should I show up on monday bright and early - hes running 4 different jobs by himself or should I just wait until i hear back from him. my last call to him was on thursday - its now sunday and nothing. My feelings are if you run an interview this way what can i expect when it comes to payday? Ive been out of work for a while now and this little ray of hope is nerve racking.
So finally I spoke to this guy - only after i called him and i finally got it out of him. He states "your resume dictates that of a higher salary thus we have decided to go with someone else". you couldnt call and tell me that. If he conducts all of business in such a evasive manner i donot expect him to be around much longer.
