Secrets of the Job Hunt

Career Advice Podcasts & Job Seeker Network

I am one of the co-founders of The Layoff Support Network, a site designed to help people with the other aspects of being jobless: money, health, stress. We do have a very cool job-search function if you register, but that is not our main thrust, since there are other sites that do that well.

The Layoff Support Network was born out of a desire to Pay-it-forward. This is a 100% free, 100% non-commercial site.

We are probably the only website that wants to go out of existence. We want our members to find jobs and leave the ranks of the laid-off, and not have a need for the LSN anymore. But until that day comes, if you find any of the content useful, our effort would be considered a success.

Chris Russel, the creator of this site (SOTJH), has graciously allowed us to embed his podcasts on our site. We also have content from a practicing psychotherapist who writes about various mental health issues, and an executive coach who writes about preparing yourself to re-enter the workforce.

But the best part is the user-created content: blog posts, groups, and forum postings. Come visit us at The Layoff Support Network
