I’m ready to take my sales career to the next level! I believe the transition from real estate sales to pharmaceutical sales is a natural progression. I’ve been quite strategic and successful in my sales journey throughout my career. I graduated from Illinois State University, in Normal-Bloomington, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. After I graduated from college, I started my sales career working for the #1 company in its space (GTSI). I worked as an inside computer sales representative-diligently learning the business, the product offerings and building “customer loyalty”. In less than a year, I was promoted from inside sales to outside sales. I exceeded my quota month after month, uncovered new business, employed the 80/20 rule and most importantly; gained the trust, respect and loyalty from the client. I enjoyed combining computer know-how, sales-savvy, likability, and the awareness to convey complex information to a wide group of people.
I am currently a licensed real estate agent who is in pursuit of transitioning from real estate sales to pharmaceutical sales. I am quite confident my computer sales experience, real estate sales experience, and the desire and drive to be better than the best-are transferable skills any successful pharmaceutical company would benefit from. If given the opportunity, there’s no one who will work as hard/smart as me. I learned in high school as a disciplined member of the track team, “it’s not how you start the race, but how you finish the game”. Throughout my sales career I have often reflected back to that mantra. Now as I transition into my new career, I reflect back on another track and field analogy: “Winning is a matter of endurance. As long as I don’t quit, I’ll win”.
