Green jobs resource fair coming to San Diego

If you are interested in learning more about Green careers coming to San Diego, you will not want to miss this event.

The San Diego Green Career Pathways Fair will open it's doors to the public on August 1, 2009. This half-day program will bring together local providers of green educational, training and apprenticeship programs as well as non-profit organizations, trade and labor groups, career coaches and business leaders to talk with people interested in starting or transitioning to a green job. The San Diego Green Career Pathways Fair will also provide information on upcoming local green employment projects, including those funded by the federal stimulus legislation.

This event will take place from 1:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m. at the Price Center at UCSD (directions). Online registration is $15 and open through July 30th. Cost at the door will be $20. This program is presented by Next Path, a San Diego career and workforce development company focused on green careers and sponsored by San Diego Renewable Energy Society, in collaboration with The San Diego Imperial Region Center of Excellence and The California Center for Sustainable Energy.
