A major publication is writing an article about outplacement firms and their ability to assist job seekers during this period of rising unemployment. These firms are frequently retained to assist terminated or early-retirement employees. If you or anyone you know has an experience (good or bad) with one of these firms please let me know and I will refer you to the journalist. This can include employers or job seekers.

This is a hot topic right now due to the volume of layoffs and the unfortunate issue of fraudulent firms popping up to take advantage of the situation. This publication is hoping that this article will curtail the fraudulent activity by spotlighting good and bad firms in the process.
