In Part 1, we discussed the major elements of what constitutes a good career blog or webfolio Now, lets take a closer look. In order for your Career Blog to be successful, you have to develop your own personal brand marketing plan.

To get started. you should gather the following documents

  1. Your Resume
  2. Biography, if you have one
  3. Cover Letter
  4. Letters of recommendation, Awards and recognition you have received
  5. Past Personnel Reviews
Include any and all documents that will help you develop your personal brand
marketing plan because you probably won't be able to recall everything
you have done from memory. These documents will help you develop your
branding message and let your audience know exactly who you are.
