Simply Hired Presents free Online Entrepreneurship Forum w/ Sramana Mitra

Our friends at SimplyHired are holding a webinar which users can call in and talk with their expert guest Sramana Mitra about Entrepreneurship.

Simply Hired, (http://www.SimplyHired.com), the largest job search engine and recruitment advertising network, announces an online entrepreneurship forum in partnership with Sramana Mitra, Forbes columnist and author of Entrepreneur Journeys. The open forum will take place on January 14th, 2009 at 11am PT/2pm ET and will center on job seekers taking their careers in their own hands by learning to create jobs now.

During the 60-minute session, Sramana Mitra will answer participant questions in real-time about all aspects of entrepreneurship including forming a business idea, finding great mentors, funding your business idea, mistakes to avoid and more. The session is open to everyone, however only the first 15 participants to register will have the opportunity to interact with Mitra.

"My message to everyone facing a job crisis and tough times has been and continues to be: Take control of your destiny," shares Sramana Mitra. "This is a good time to explore being in business yourself. Many great companies have been founded during downturns and recessions. Many people have found their way into self-employment during difficult times. For those who are new to this way of life, I want to provide some positive momentum, inspiration and encouragement, as well as teach them the ropes of entrepreneurship."

The forum is free to all participants and will be run on the Dimdim Web Conferencing platform. Dimdim is the easy, open, and affordable web conference company -- providing free and low cost tools to enable everyone to meet freely. To register for this event, go to http://entrepreneurshipforum.eventbrite.com or visit http://www.dimdim.com.

"We are pleased to offer job seekers yet another resource for attaining their career goals and getting closer to finding their dream job. Entrepreneurship offers yet another avenue," said Gautam Godhwani, CEO and Co-founder of Simply Hired. "We hope job seekers can benefit from the insights of such a seasoned expert like Sramana Mitra."

Are you looking for employment? Are you hoping that by visiting a few online job employment websites that you will easily find the right position for you, send in your resume and poof your new job starts next week? This is not the way that it happens and for many individuals it can take a good amount of time to find and secure the employment that they deserve.
