When out of work, be very careful what you blog or post online. A friend of mine blogged about the hardship he was suffering and gave a little too much detail. He revealed where he lived, that he recently turned off things like his land line phone and Home security systems, and he revealed that he was going to travel out east for a week to see if he had better luck finding a job there. Well, some unscrupulous basterds read his blog and broke into his house while he was out of town. Talk about being down on your luck. Luckily they were caught but they still caused some damage and he lost a few things. Lesson, be careful how much you reveal about yourself online.
