Positive Attitude Helps In Job Search

This morning my friend and uber entrepreneur, Suzette (legendheart.com) sent me the quote below to jump start my week on a good note. “Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that… Continue

No More Killer Resumes!

During the week, I will inevitably receive a request from someone wanting me to write a "killer resume" for them or their firm. In today's competitive job market, many job seekers can relate to the over the top tactics in this clip. I don't recommend spandex but you can get great ideas to power up your search from the wealth of talent… Continue

Hi Karen,

It's great to meet you. I'd love to talk about having you as a guest on my podcast, The Savvy Jobseeker, to discuss the importance of career marketing. Many jobseekers still don't understand that they must actively market themselves. It would be a fantastic topic to cover on the podcast.
